Find Hope for Your Heart
Are you longing for something more?
I am here to support you! I offer a warm, empathic presence, as well as a safe space to process your emotions and work toward greater emotional health and wholeness. My goal for every client is to foster a deeper sense of peace, hope, and personal freedom. I have over 16 years of experience working with individuals, couples, groups, and families in a clinical setting to address a variety of interpersonal and emotional concerns.
I am a Certified Brainspotting (BSP) therapist as well as a fully trained Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapist. I apply both approaches as components of an integrated, personalized treatment approach rather than as "techniques." Areas of special focus for me include trauma resolution, anxiety/depression, self-integration, and sexually compulsive behavior/integrity issues.
I am licensed to treat individuals, couples, and families residing in the States of California and Idaho.

Services I Offer
You are not alone
Brainspotting (BSP) Therapy
Developed by David Grand, PhD, in the early 2000s, Brainspotting is a powerful, focused treatment method that identifies, processes, and releases core neurophysiological sources of emotional/body pain, trauma, and a variety of other challenging symptoms.
In the context of a nurturing, attuned therapeutic relationship, with further enhancement from bilateral sound, BSP provides a tool to neurobiologically locate, focus, process, and release experiences and symptoms that are typically out of reach of the conscious mind and its cognitive/language capacities.
Brainspotting works with the deep brain and the body through its direct access to the autonomic and limbic systems within the body’s central nervous system. As a treatment approach, BSP can have profound psychological, emotional, and physical consequences.
Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapy
Following Dr. Francine Shapiro's Adaptive Information Processing (AIP) Model, which was set forth in the late 1980s and has since been validated through a robust body of research and clinical feedback, EMDR employs an 8-phase standardized protocol to reduce subjective distress and strengthen adaptive beliefs related to a traumatic event, series of events, or pattern of adverse childhood experiences (ACEs). This is achieved by focusing simultaneously on spontaneous associations of traumatic images, thoughts, emotions, and bodily sensations, in conjunction with bilateral stimulation (auditory, tactile, or repeated eye movements).
Individual & Couples Therapy
I offer individual and family therapies in lieu of or in conjunction with BSP and/or EMDR therapies. My approach is eclectic and tailored to each client's unique needs, but is primarily informed by attachment based, family systems, and mindfulness-based models such as dialectical behavior therapy (DBT).
Also, through an attachment-based approach, I offer support and guidance to couples who are seeking to strengthen their bond with one another. The ultimate goal is to increase satisfaction for both partners in this vital relationship. I am also trained and experienced in providing couples therapy using Milan and Kay Yerkovich's Attachment Core Pattern Therapy (ACPT) approach, as well as premarital counseling through the Prepare/ENRICH program.
